Organic Wool 1 from Krea Deluxe is our fine GOTScertified organic merino wool yarns – now in a new improved edition.

The wool comes from South America and is spun, dyed and finished in Portugal at a small family-owned spinning mill.

The wool is produced with a focus on sustainability and animal welfare, and is naturally free of interventions such as mulesing.

The woolen yarn is a high-quality yarn. It comes in our very own, unique tone-on-tone colors that go together perfectly. The woolen yarn is super soft and is particularly suitable for sweaters, scarves, shawls, baby and children's clothes, blankets, pillows etc.

Use it alone or together with Deluxe Silk Mohair


New improved version, goodbye to fluff
This new version of Organic wool 1, fluffs up to 80% less, and we have thus succeeded in producing a soft and organic wool yarn WITHOUT adding unnecessary chemistry such as superwash and other chemicals.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS


First wash
To bring out the right fullness in the wool, we recommend soaking your finished Organic Wool 1 product for a minimum of 10 minutes in a maximum of 30 degrees warm water. The work is then dried as explained below.


Subsequent washing
We recommend hand washing, as washing machines' wool programs are very different.

If you have a good washing machine with a gentle wool programme, you can wash your Organic Wool 1 product in the machine.

Use only a little wool detergent without enzymes.
Use a washing bag, max 30 degrees and 800 revolutions.


Drying
Dry flat on e.g. a towel and push your knitted/crocheted work into place in the correct measurement.

The wool can stretch a bit in the wash, but contracts and gives the right fullness when it is dried flat and blocked according to measurements.


You should be aware that color differences may appear from monitor to monitor. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that the color is identical to what you see on your screen.
