The Ivy Cardigan is knitted from top to bottom in one piece back and forth on the needle. The carrier piece is constructed so that first the shoulder increases are knitted, then the sleeve increases are knitted, and finally the raglan increases are knitted. The sleeves are knitted in the round on double pointed needles or with the Magic Loop technique. Finally, pick up stitches along the front edges and along the neck edge for button posts.
The Ivy Cardigan shown is knitted in Deluxe Silk Mohair from Krea Deluxe in the color 43 aubergine.

The Ivy Cardigan should have a room for movement (positive ease) of approx. 2 cm in relation to your chest measurement. The sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a chest measurement measured on your own body of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The measurements of the finished blouse are given on the front of the pattern (note that these measurements only apply if the knitting tension is observed). Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 90 cm around the chest (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A blouse in size S has an excess width of 92 cm and in the example mentioned will provide a room for movement (positive ease) of 2 cm.
