Our colors
A unique feature of Krea Deluxe is our color range. We develop the colors that we ourselves think are beautiful and that are made with the aim of being used for very specific designs. The colors are here to stay, we do not make seasonal colors that are phased out and replaced by new ones. We strive to create timeless colors, each with its own purpose.
HIGH REQUIREMENTS
There is one criterion that we value above all else when creating and developing colors - It must not contain problematic substances and unnecessary chemistry.
We ourselves have severe allergies very close to our families' everyday life, and this has made us very aware of which problematic substances must be avoided in production and dyeing.
This is one of the reasons why we as a company have been GOTS certified. The small green GOTS logo on our organic cotton and merino yarn is also a guarantee that problematic substances that can cause skin irritation and other allergic reactions are not found in our yarn. These are, for example, substances such as formaldehyde, nickel and chromium, to name a few of them.
Our high demands on the dyeing have also meant that we have opted out of the possibility of making strong and harsh colours, as the chemistry for this is not accepted in the GOTS programme. You will also not be able to find a completely white color with us, as it is not possible to use bleaching agents. Therefore, our white color is completely natural off-white in our yarn.

ANNUAL CHECK
It is incredibly difficult as a consumer to navigate, because there is simply no requirement for yarn and other textiles to disclose exactly what the products contain or how they have been processed. There are just some limit values that according to the legislation you have to stay below, and which can vary from country to country.
As a GOTS-certified product, the entire value chain of the yarn is checked annually to ensure that the product meets the strict GOTS requirements. Including, among other things, annual laboratory tests and audits from the Control Union in the company.
COORDINATED COLORS
Fortunately, we are very enthusiastic about muted colors, and our color scale is characterized by a coordinated palette of tone on tone colors. When we add new colors, the swatch is always held up against all the other colors to make sure they match up and cross each other. It sometimes takes several tries to get the perfect shade, but it's worth all the work because the result is a beautiful and coherent color scale.
