Nothern Augustins No 9 is a truly beautiful Christmas sweater for adults. It is wonderfully soft, light and warm - exactly what a good Christmas sweater should be. The sweater is knitted in the round from the top down in stockinette stitch, with ribbed edges. The round yoke, body and sleeves all feature colorwork based on a set of charts.
Northern Augustins No 9 is knitted with 2 strands: 1 strand Organic Wool anf 1 stand Deluxe Silk Mohair.
SKILL LEVEL Experienced - due to the many color changes.
GAUGE
The row gauge varies depending on whether you are knitting with 1 or 2 colors.
24 st x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm in solid stockinette stitch on 3.5 mm circular needles after washing.
24 st x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm in solid stockinette stitch on 3.5 mm circular needles after washing.

This project uses 2 needle sizes:
Circular needles 2 sets if 3 mm (40 anc 60 cm recommended)
Circular needles 1 set of 3.5 mm (40, 60 and 80 cm recommended)
Double-pointed needles 3 mm and 3.5 mm (unless using magic loop method)
(or the needle size needed to achieve the correct gague)
