ABOUT THE YARN
Organic Cotton is the name of our organic cotton yarn selection. The raw cotton comes from South America, where the perfect combination of a warm climate and fertile soil makes it is possible to grow organic cotton. The cotton fields are placed near mountain springs and rivers. Here the cotton is sown, grown and harvested without chemical pesticides and artificial fertilizers and with minimum irrigation. The natural growth creates longer cotton fibers which results in an incredibly soft quality yarn.
The yarn is developed with babies, children and people suffering from allergies in mind. The yarn is produced in Europe in a small family owned mill, where also our unique tone on tone color palette has been developed in cooperation with our skilled dyeing specialist.
The cotton keeps its shape – also after many times in the washer, which makes it the perfect yarn for clothes, toys, cloths and towels.
