My name is Erinna, otherwise known as @littleaquagirl on Instagram. I started my crochet journey in 2014 and published my first pattern shortly after. I co-run two Etsy shops, The Little Hook Crochet where I sell my patterns, and Bubbles & Bongo where we sell finished dolls (specially made by my beautiful mum). In addition, I also sell my patterns through AmigurumiPatterns.net and LoveCrochet.com and regularly contribute patterns to magazines like Simply Crochet. I am excited that my very first pattern book “Amigurumi Treasures”, published by AmigurumiPatterns is soon to be released!
I have always loved trying to create cute and adorable dolls, in particular with cotton yarn, and perhaps my designs and feed are best recognised by their pastel colour palette. I first came across Krea Deluxe yarn on Instagram and instantly identified with the brand and fell in love. What caught my eye were the beautiful soft colours that are so easy to mix and match when creating amigurumi designs.
I was therefore thrilled when I learnt that Krea Deluxe now ships worldwide. This was great news for someone who lives on the other side of the world in Australia. When I received my first box of Krea Deluxe yarn so beautifully presented by the lovely Heidi, it was yarn heaven! Not just beautiful colours but also luxurious feeling organic cotton. In addition, their customer service is so warm and friendly.
Krea Deluxe yarn has inspired me and I look forward to creating more designs with their yarn!
My name is Mette Hvitved and I am a knitwear designer. I started knitting during Christmas 2014 and a few months later I created my first pattern.
I am not sure why I started to create my own patterns so quickly, but I think I just couldn’t help myself. I have always enjoyed being creative, so it was the natural step, which allowed me to play with colors, textures and shapes.
The first time I learned about Krea Deluxe yarn was right before the preparations began for my booklet ”Min dukkegarderobe” (My Doll Wardrobe). The colors were so pretty, fading in exactly my favorite, delicately dusty colors. They went perfectly in hand with all the ideas I had for my doll booklet.
Shortly after they released their wool – also in the prettiest color schemes. Soft, delicious, ecological and GOTS. Amazing.
I focus on designs for babies and children, who of course will appreciate the non-scratchy product that you can knit with a clear conscience.
Knit By TrineP
My name is Trine Påskesen and I create knit designs. I own the company Knit By TrineP, and I am the author of the book Nordic – Dansk Børnestrik (Nordic – Children’s knits from Denmark).
My designs are based on my love for Nordic fashion, with an emphasis on simplicity with beautiful, well thought-out details. Additionally, they need to meet the demands for daily wear. I love texture and lace patterns and tend to go for the feminine and elegant looks.
I was the lucky one chosen to work with the new wool yarn in connection with the baby collection that I have designed for Krea Deluxe. The yarn is soft, has a beautiful fit and is nice and stretchy which makes the wool incredible to work with.
It is especially suited for baby and children’s clothing and you can knit underwear to be worn close to the skin without problems. Some of the designs in the collection are knitted in the cotton and this has also surprised me positively with its softness and ability to keep the shape.
